This one of the finest books I have ever encountered. This will give you a great understanding of what it is you are doing or attempting to do. It starts with an explanation of a speaker and how it works. This book then goes all the way through showing, in detail, how to design, construct and build an assortment of enclosures, crossovers and everything you want to know is there. This book isn't just for the car audio buff. This book tells you how sound works. Also how to make an assortment of testing circuits for testing loudspeakers. Home theater & car audio.
For the individual wishing to
compete in a format such as IASCA, first read the
IASCA rulebook to find out what it is you need 
to run your car.
