Russ' 1991 Chevy S-10 4x4

This fellow had a pile of product from a previous system & wanted to use it all. So we did.

He had amps only 2. He had a radio only 1 thank God. He had a changer only 1.  He had a crossover only 1. But then he had speakers only 21.  Now where to put them?  And in of all places a 1991 Chevy S-10 Stretch thank God.

Amps we put here.
Under the enclosure.

Well the radio that was easy, we put it where the radio was supposed to go but we made it fit flush.

Oh look a little enclosure with an MTX B3.5 for a center channel. With a cigarette lighter volume control but we did use up one speaker.

The changer we wanted close enough for easy access, so we put it real close.

_

He only had one crossover & it sat beside the amps on the amp rack. Now where the HELL are we going to put another 20 speakers.

Well we started here with 4 speakers.

_

The new door panels had to be built out a great deal to house the 6.5" & 5.25" MTX Thunder Pro Speakers

Unfortunately we didn't take any pictures of the MTX Thunder Pro 4 x 6 Dash Plates that went into the factory dash locations.  But we stuck another 4 speakers in there.

Oh look another factory location, lets put some in here.

Got really lucky here & got rid of 6 more speakers 2-4" MTX 2-3.5" MTX & 2-Tweeters MTX. Again sorry no pictures.

OK so far so good, only 6 speakers to use up.  But still no bass.  So lets put 6 subwoofers in one box. Separate chambers of course.

4-8" 8 ohm Blu Shadow & 2-10" 8 ohm Cast Blu Shadow Subwoofers, separate enclosures of course.  We decided to build a 4th order bandpass for the 8 & 10" subwoofers.  Nice but it needs a cover of some sort.

The Rodek 2150E 300 watt amplifier was used to run all the bottom end & a Rodek 425E 4 Channel 100 watt amplifier was used to run everything else.

The only problem with this vehicle is that someone wanted it more than the owner.  The vehicle was for sale.  A lot of people looked at the truck to purchase it.  But someone STOLE it from the owner's driveway.

SO IF YOU ARE SELLING YOUR KILLER VEHICLE BEWARE OF UNSAVORY BUYERS
