We were contacted by The Taylor Group Toronto, to design a stereo system in this fabulous rolling work of art they were putting together for GE Plastics.

This vehicle travels from show to show displaying the numerous products manufactured by GE Plastics.

The trailer interior was changed 4 times per year depending on which tour the unit was on. Ranging from Automotive, Building & Construction, Consumer Electronics and even the Lawn and Garden industry.

This trailer is quite unique, driving down the road with a width of 102", then opened and expanding the unit to a width of 22' via a state of the art hydraulic system which operates with the push of a button.

We were asked to try to keep the cosmetic integrity of the truck and not to cut anything.

As for the stereo we decided to install the Pioneer KEHP8200 Deck W/Optional DEXP800 DSP. This unit has extra audio inputs that were wired from the VCR to add surround to movie watching. In a truck, oh course.

We installed The MTX Blue Thunder BT4S Combo set in the front headliner and placed the tweeters on the extreme outside for a little better image.

Next were the MTX's BTM6 6.5" midbass speakers which we installed in the factory location behind the front seats. They added a nice little snap to the system.

In the rear we replaced the factory two with the MTX BT5S Combo set and unfortunately had to install the tweeters closer to the middle of the truck.

We wired the existing VCR and Television to the aux inputs on the DEXP800 and movies could be watched in simulated surround. And of course this is a necessity in any moving living room.

Below the TV location we placed the MTX T280, T4160 amplifiers and the RTX02A Electronic Crossover. And just above the amp rack the Pioneer CDXP1210 12 pak changer was installed for those long hauls.
